In all countries of the world, feed costs are increasing every year. And the resources for their production are decreasing. At the same time, many components of compound feed have become scarce, and some are used for other purposes. The rise in price and reduction of traditional energy resources necessitated the inclusion of up to 80% or more grain components in the rations, which leads to unbalanced feed, and does not provide biological full-value products. In this regard, the search for new types of feed and the creation of a rational technology for the efficient use of raw materials is very important.
Production of domestic complete feed for farm animals, ensuring waste-free production, improving the environmental situation of processing enterprises by utilizing benign non-food raw materials and reducing harmful discharges, as well as the integrated use of sugar production waste.
Work in Kazakhstan on the production of new feed for farm animals using waste from sugar production was not carried out, and this indicates the relevance and importance of using new feed in feeding farm animals.
The most important prerequisite for increasing the productivity of farm animals is the use of all available feed means and an uninterrupted supply of them in the form of high-quality feed. In this regard, the full and rational use of waste and by-products from the food processing industry in animal husbandry deserves attention. To strengthen the fodder base, it is important to expand the ingredients from local, cheaper, non-traditional raw materials from wastes of sugar beet production.
The organization of rational, high-grade feeding is one of the main conditions for further increasing the productivity of farm animals. Development of domestic technologies for feed additives and compound feeds for farm animals using non-traditional types of raw materials that will be in demand by domestic feed producers.
When developing the recipes, scientifically grounded norms for the introduction of certain components into the feed additive were taken into account. Taking into account the norms, feeding rations and quality standards requirements, recipes for feed additives using sugar production waste for dairy cows have been developed. This waste can create highly nutritious, high protein feed at a lower cost.
Scientifically grounded recipes and technological regimes of loose and granular feed additives with the use of sugar beet waste for dairy cows have been developed and pilot batches of fodder have been developed in the experimental workshop of KazRIPFI LLP.
