“Technologies for processing cow and mare’s milk in new kinds of yogurt and cheese”

On the instructions of the National Agrarian Scientific and Educational Center, with the financing of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kazakh Research Institute of Processing and Food Industry within the framework of the program “Increasing the availability of knowledge and scientific research” organized a consulting event at dairy enterprises in Zhualy district of Zhambyl region on the topic:”Technologies for processing cow and mare’s milk in new kinds of yogurt and cheese”.
Within the framework of the event, work was carried out on monitoring, verification and evaluation of technological processes of production and quality of dairy products of “LF Company” LLP (with “Aq Altyn” products), a meeting was organized with the heads of enterprises. In the small village named after Bauyrzhan Momyshuly in the administrative center of the Zhualy district, there are about a dozen enterprises for the production of dairy products, as well as newly created enterprises, whose competitive work is an illustrative example of regional industrial and innovative development.
The results of scientific projects of scientists of the research institute working in the dairy sector, as well was discussed and planned promising ideas for the future moreover further work with dairy producers. In particular, were considered the possibilities of processing not only cow’s milk, but also mare’s milk, inherent in the Kazakh people, processing from kumis products into other beverages and fermented milk products.
