Тhe Semey branch of KazRIPFI LLP actively and closely cooperates with Shakarim University in terms of training highly qualified specialists and scientists. One of the significant steps in this direction was the signing of an agreement on opening a branch of the Department of Food Technology and Biotechnology on the basis of the Semey branch of KazRIPFI LLP. Students, undergraduates and doctoral students will have the opportunity to learn practical skills in mini-sausage, patty and machine shops; carry out deep research work in the laboratories of the institute.
On an ongoing basis, research practices are organized for students, undergraduates and doctoral students of Shakarim University, scientific consultations are held by leading scientists of the institute on improving technology and equipment for the production of meat and dairy products. M.M. Dzhumazhanova, G.Zhumadilova, A.B.Bakiyeva, who previously defended their PhD-doctoral dissertations and A.M. Baikadamov conducted the introduction of new technologies and testing of equipment on the basis of the institute. At the moment, doctoral students B.K. Kabdylzhar and G. Bekeshova, undergraduates M. Rakimova and S. Yesengeldin perform their scientific work at our institute.
The scientists of our institute (A.K. Suychinov, Zh.S. Esimbekov) hold weekly lectures on food production technology for students of the Shakarim University.
The results of cooperation are reflected in joint scientific articles published both in domestic and foreign indexed journals, in the implementation of scientific projects of program-targeted financing of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Close academic and scientific ties between the Semey branch of KazRIPFI and Shakarim University will contribute to the expansion of the system of training qualified scientific personnel and specialists, the formation of new competencies and skills of students.
